The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. Students apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges in a low-stress and friendly environment.
The 2025 AMC 8 will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025, 3:00-4:00 in TBD.
Registration will close on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 4:00pm.
Donation link will remain open through Thursday, January 23rd.
Students interested in participating in the AMC 8 are asked
to make a $5 donation to take the test at CWMS. Although we will not turn your student away for not paying the donation, we will need to cancel the event if we do not receive enough funds to cover the event.
